About Me .

Rida2g
Greetings, I'm Rida!

I'm in my fourth or fifth career life as we speak, and enjoying the opportunity to continue supporting other small businesses with my skills. From the very start, my career path has been to support others, first via the IT sector, then as a book publisher (and editor, and book designer, and cover designer, and cheerleader), and now as a virtual administrator and bookkeeper. I love helping people get their work done, no matter what industry they are in...watching them thrive is what gives me purpose and gives me joy. If you're looking for someone who is in it for the money or the "glory," then you'll need to look elsewhere. If you're looking for someone who is in it for the satisfaction of getting a business organized and working in a good rhythm, then I'm the person you've been waiting to meet.

Drop me an email, contact me via my contact page, or you can even send me a text...any way you feel comfortable. Let's get going and get your books transformed into something that works for you.

My personal purpose

These are our current girls, all rescue dogs. They are part of our purpose here in this world...giving them a safe, happy, spoiled home for as long as they are here on earth. They take up a lot of my time and a ton of my love (along with my husband, who does not prefer to be pictured), and I am happy to give them both.

For those with the interest, Maple is the dog with her head up, and she is a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy-mill survivor we adopted at 9 months old. She had no name, just a number, and she had no understanding of anything inside a home. She had never heard a toilet flush, never seen stairs, didn't know what a cough or a sneeze was, and was afraid of everything. She turned 2 in June 2025, and she's still working on her fears, but she's getting better!

In front of her is our newest adoptee, Trudy, and she's a Newfoundland Landseer who is four years old. She came from a family who no longer wanted her (crazy!), and she's been with us since Valentine's day of 2025. She's very outgoing and loves belly-scratches. Her fur is soft like cotton. We don't know if she likes to swim yet, as most Newfies do, but she's a sweetie-pie!

Next to them is Birdie, and she's 11 years old...she's a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. We adopted her at 8 years old, and she came from a terrible hoarding case on a dairy farm in Virginia. She lived outside all her life with over 60 other dogs, and when she was rescued she was so shut down that she did not allow us to touch her. It was probably about nine months before she allowed us to pet her, and even then it was rare. Now three years later she accepts pets, but does not really encourage it. She's aloof and independent, but we love her dearly, just as she is.

The last of the four is Jewel, and she's another Bernese Mountain Dog. She turned 6 in June 2025, and she came from a breeder who released her from their breeding program due to bad joints. Jewel is a happy happy girl, and is entirely obsessed with my husband. When we first adopted her, she would follow him everywhere, and if he went into the bathroom, she would sit outside the door and stare at it until he came back out. She's still pretty obsessed with him, but now, three years after she arrived to us, she actually loves me as well.

In addition to our dog rescuing (since the mid-1990's), my husband and I are very involved in supporting our community crisis and shelter organization. We participate and donate as often as we can, and every year we hold a fundraiser to benefit them during the holidays. We're one of their biggest donators every year, and we work very hard to increase our impact each year.
